Let’s face it—not everyone’s a beer person, and that’s totally okay. At Pure Project, we believe that good drinks bring people together—and that everyone should feel welcome at the table. That’s why we’re expanding our offerings beyond beer, creating space for a broader range of palates and preferences. Whether you’re a craft beer enthusiast, a wine lover, or simply someone seeking something refreshing and responsibly made, we want you to feel at home at Pure.

With that spirit in mind, we’re excited to announce a very special addition to our wine selection: our first-ever rosé; it’s a Provence-style dry rosé crafted in collaboration with the pioneers of sustainable winemaking, Tablas Creek Vineyard.

A Natural Partnership Rooted in Purpose

Some collaborations just make sense—and this was one of them. When we set out to create a rosé, we knew we wanted to work with a vineyard that not only crafted exceptional wine but also shared our commitment to sustainability.

Nestled in Paso Robles’ wine country, Tablas Creek has long been a trailblazer in both winemaking and environmental stewardship. Founded in 1989 as a partnership between the Perrin family of Château de Beaucastel in France and American wine importer and vintner Robert Haas, the vineyard played a pivotal role in introducing Rhône varietals to California. But beyond their viticultural innovation, what further sets them apart is their leadership in sustainable agriculture within the wine industry.

In 2020, Tablas Creek became the world’s first Regenerative Organic Certified® vineyard—a groundbreaking achievement that goes far beyond organic standards. This certification recognizes farms and growers that prioritize soil vitality, promote biodiversity, and uphold fair labor practices. That means no synthetic chemicals, no shortcuts—just a deep, holistic respect for the earth and the people who tend it.

In addition to being Regenerative Organic Certified®, Tablas Creek Vineyard also holds a Demeter Biodynamic® certification. From cover cropping and composting to rotational grazing with sheep and alpacas and incorporating native flora to support pollinators, every element of their agricultural philosophy is guided by a long-term vision: to leave the land better than they found it. That’s an ethos we share at Pure Project, and one that made them the perfect partner for this project.

Together, we set out to create something beautiful: a Provence-style dry rosé that blends old-world techniques with a new-world commitment to environmental responsibility.

Meet OUR SUSTAINABLE DRY Rosé: Pure Project Cuvée Rosé

Blending Day: Makenna Barris of Pure Project (center) with Tablas Creek Proprietor Jason Haas & Assistant Winemaker Chelsea Franchi

Our custom-blended cuvée crafted with Tablas Creek brings together grenache, mourvèdre, vermentino, and counoise grapes. This elegant fusion of Rhône varietals lend a balance of fruit, structure, and complexity.

Bright and expressive, our sustainable dry rosé opens with aromas of lime leaf, salted melon rind, nectarine skin, and cool river stone, with a snap of fresh ginger. On the palate, flavors of pink grapefruit, rhubarb, and lemon verbena are grounded by a subtle minerality and a clean, refreshing finish.

Thoughtfully made from soil to glass, this is a wine that invites conversation, complements food, and reflects the land it comes from—made with the same care and intention we bring to every beer we brew.

READY TO SIP & SAVOR?

Pure Project Cuvée Rosé is now available on draft by the glass and in bottles to go at all Pure Project taprooms. It’s the latest addition to our wine list, alongside Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc, further expanding our goal to cater to diverse tastes.

This rosé isn’t just a new option on the menu—it’s a symbol of what we stand for: collaboration, sustainability, and inclusivity. We’re proud to work with partners like Tablas Creek who share our vision for a better, more sustainable beverage industry.

So whether you’re here for a murky IPA, a barrel-aged stout, a hard seltzer, or a refreshing glass of rosé, we invite you to stop by and raise a glass with us. Cheers to using beer (and wine!) as a force for good.
