Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor

The Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor will oversee distribution operations, inventory management, and product purchasing to ensure that our warehouse has sufficient stock for orders and operation. This position will be focused on creating an organized, systematic, safe, and well-run logistics and warehouse system.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee Logistics of Wholesale Distribution, Tap Room Distribution, Local Delivery, Out of Market Delivery, and Contract Brewing.
  • Coordinate pick-up of brewing ingredients, finished goods, and other materials from local vendors.
  • Schedule all product distribution and coordinate shipments for all taproom locations.
  • Create Purchase Orders, communicate with vendors, and maintain inventory par levels.
  • Serve as primary contact for our suppliers and distributors.
  • Select freight carriers and third-party services and negotiate contracts and rates.
  • Track and report shipment results, as well as oversee shipping complaints, lost items, and damages.
  • Determine needs for expansion of routes and schedules. Create daily routing for local and non local deliveries.
  • Responsible for inventory, receiving, and shipping of all raw materials and finished goods.
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts of beer products.
  • Maintain a neat and orderly warehouse with a focus on safety, stock rotation, and PAR level inventory management.
  • Develop and oversee logistics KPIs.
  • Maintain timely and accurate paperwork, and ensure any discrepancies with delivery, shipment, inventory, and accounting are timely and properly resolved.
  • Create, implement, and regularly update standard operating procedures for warehouse operations, including safety policies and loss prevention policies.
  • Investigate and recommend new technologies, procedures, and processes to improve warehouse operations.
  • Review and analyze budgets, expenditures, and operations.
  • Supervise and manage logistics and delivery teams.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with company processes.
  • As needed, work with Brewing Team and management to set and maintain PAR levels and manage the ordering process.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience in logistics, supply management, or a similar role required.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to supervise multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Advanced computer skills with Google Apps. Ekos is a plus.
  • Strong decision-making, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate with Team Members, customers, and vendors.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team to accomplish goals.
