The Conservation Alliance’s mission is to engage businesses to fund and partner with organizations to protect wild places for their habitat and recreation values. Since its inception in 1989, the Alliance has contributed more than $24 million to grassroots conservation groups throughout North America.
The results of their funding have been remarkable. Alliance funding has helped save 73 million acres of wildlands; protect 3,580 miles of rivers; stop or remove 37 dams; designate five marine reserves; and purchase 21 climbing areas.
A simple MOdel | Big Results
We were drawn to The Conservation Alliance due to the success of their efforts and our desire to protect the places that have shaped our lives. We were pleasantly surprised to find they operate a simple model that just works. Monies are gathered from donors and members submit projects for consideration. Twice a year everyone votes and grants are released to the project recipients. Simple & effective. The results speak for themselves.
